Global Aerospace Adds Pro Services Liability Insurance
New coverage is aimed at aerospace contractors, aircraft maintenance providers, auditors and engineers, among others.

Aviation insurer Global Aerospace has introduced aviation professional services liability insurance for aerospace contractors, aircraft maintenance providers, auditors and engineers, among others. The new liability policy will provide the industry with coverage for financial loss and defense costs arising from acts, errors or omissions in performing aviation professional services.

According to Global Aerospace, financial loss arising from these activities is a primary exposure for aviation specialists. Chris Proudlove, Global Aerospace’s senior vice president and manager of the Northeast regional office and UAS risks, called aviation professional services liability insurance “one of the most important business investments aviation professionals can make.”

As a specialist in aviation underwriting, Global Aerospace said it will continue to develop customized products and services for clients and their brokers. The company’s aviation professional services liability underwriting team will also be available at its NBAA booth from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on October 10 and 11.
