It was on the occasion of American Eurocopter’s 40th anniversary celebration at its Grand Prairie, Texas headquarters that the company cut the ribbon for its new customer service and fleet operations center. Marc Paganini, the company’s president and CEO, called it an important step in American Eurocopter’s initiative to improve support and services. The company continues to invest in its local repair and overhaul capability, local supply chain, and training and simulation services. Paganini said the company also realigned its administrative structure by combining the marketing, sales and customer support functions into a single operation. “The streamlining allows for seamless support from sales and delivery through full service life,” he said. The opening marks the third customer support center that the Eurocopter Group has opened within the last 20 months. The first was in La Durane, France, followed by a facility in Hong Kong.
