The business aviation services group inaugurated its first Beta charging station on March 7 at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (KMHT) in New Hampshire.
Beta Technologies’ Alia prototype conducted a public flight demonstration in Louisiana on February 7, marking the first flight of an electric aircraft in the Bayou State, according to the Vermont-based manufacturer.
The airline has chosen the Alia as the first electric aircraft to be deployed as part of its Mission NextGen decarbonization program, which could see larger models introduced from 2030.
Beta, which has already begun building a network of charging stations in the eastern U.S., says it has delivered several multimodal Level 3 DC fast chargers to Archer’s flight test facility in California.
