Lockheed Martin’s F-35A Performs Validation Flight at Paris Air Show 2017

Before the opening of the 2017 Paris Air Show, Lockheed Martin senior experimental test pilot Billie Flynn must validate the F-35A Lightning II flying display for show officials, providing an early opportunity to see it in action. This is the F-35A model, which is flown by the United States Air Force, and it is the first time it has appeared at the Paris Air Show. Last year, the STOVL-capable F-35B variant made its international airshow debut at the Farnborough Air Show. This F-35A display shows an expanded envelope of the aircraft’s capabilities over the last display. The F-35A will be on display during the Paris Air Show June 19-21 and 23-25 between 1530 and 1600.
