Avfuel has added Lux Air Jet Centers to its FBO network. Based at Arizona’s Phoenix-Goodyear Airport (GYR), Lux Air offers aircraft maintenance and ground support. The FBO is an approved fuel facility for Part 121 commercial carriers and supports government, military, and emergency medical service operators.

The Lux Air Jet Centers facility features a pilot lounge, private VIP lounge, snooze room, flight-planning room, conference rooms, work stations, pilot shop, transportation services, courtesy cars, kitchen, and hangar space. The FBO is known for its location near sports facilities such as the Phoenix International Raceway, Goodyear Ballpark, and The University of Phoenix Stadium.

“Lux Air Jet Centers is an upstanding operation with which the Avfuel brand is proud to align itself,” said Mark Haynes, v-p of sales for Avfuel. “Its leadership’s dedication to excellence in service and safety mirrors Avfuel’s values, and we look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead with this new partnership.”

Avfuel’s branded partnership with Lux Air Jet Centers is part of the company’s expansion of its FBO network. In 2017, Avfuel added more than 30 branded FBOs throughout North America and Europe. These include Bohlke International Airways (STX) in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands; Westair Aviation (SNN) in Shannon, Ireland; Denver jetCenter (APA) of Denver, Colorado; ACI Jet (SNA) of Orange County, California; and Castle & Cooke Aviation in Van Nuys, California(VNY), Honolulu, Hawaii (HNL), and Everett, Washington (PAE). Avfuel also added 241 contract fuel locations (102 domestically and 139 global).

In addition to the new Lux Air location, Avfuel previously added Carver Aero FBO locations in Davenport and Muscatine, Iowa, to its network. It also established a branding arrangement with Argos VIP locations in Rome (LIN) and Milan.
