DXB handles 71 percent of UAE airport passenger throughput last year
Dubai International Airport recorded 5.8 percent growth in passenger traffic in the first nine months of this year compared with the same period last year. During the period the airport served 66,568,550 passengers, compared with 62,945,886 between January and September 2016. During the first three quarters the number of flight movements declined by 1.9 percent, to 307,683 compared with 313,579 in the same period last year.
