Business aviation software company Portside is announcing a 10-year contract with Solairus Aviation to provide fleet management services through its Avianis platform.
San Francisco-based Solairus operates a fleet of 320 aircraft from more than 100 bases and employs 2,300 crew and support personnel. It offers aircraft management, charter, aviation support services, and consulting. Portside provides software solutions for business aviation including scheduling, recordkeeping, data sharing, reporting and analytics, customer billing, crew recruiting, and crew and passenger accommodations.
The company supports more than 1,000 operators of business jets, helicopters, fractional owners, and government and medevac aircraft in more than 30 countries. Noting this customer base, Portside CEO Alek Vernitsky said, “We’ve seen a clear need for flexible, bespoke solutions that address specific opportunities.”
