Jet Aviation Links with hullo Aircrew for Crew Staffing
Investment in UK firm’s freelance and contract hire platform will help crews and operators maximize their opportunities

Jet Aviation announced at EBACE 2019 a collaboration agreement and investment in UK-based hullo Aircrew to advance the development of the latter’s technology for use in both companies’ flight crew staffing services. Hullo Aircrew’s platform connects freelance and contract aircrew members with operators in a fast and simple process, helping crewmembers maximize hours and operators avoid trip cancellations, and offers an end-to-end payment service. Jet Aviation also offers freelance crewing through its Jet Staffing arm.

“The hullo Aircrew platform available today for crew and operators to effortlessly book trips will continue to be enhanced over the coming months under this new agreement,” said Jet Aviation’s senior director of Jet Staffing Elaine Lapotosky. “Additionally, we will further develop the platform for our Jet Aviation customers, which we expect to be launching to the market in the fourth quarter.”

The agreement will allow Jet Aviation’s Jet Staffing to use a similar platform, helping the company enter new markets and improve customer access to its staffing services, Lapotosky said. She added that the updated platform layout will “better support the U.S. marketplace.”

Describing his company as “very excited” to be working with Jet Aviation, hullo Aircrew’s director of business operations Edward Cousins said, “In this fast-paced and ever-changing industry, we know we are collaborating with the perfect partner, sharing one vision to become the go-to transglobal provider of freelance and contract crew. The geographical coverage that the combined Jet Staffing and hullo Aircrew teams can offer means that we are best placed to serve all of our clients’ needs on a worldwide basis.”
