The FAA last month granted an STC certifying Gogo Business Aviation's Avance L5 cabin connectivity system for the Gulfstream G280, making it available for the airframer’s full range of recent and current models, including the G650/650ER, G600, G550/GV/GV-SP, and G450/GIV/GIV-SP.

Currently installed on nearly 500 aircraft, the 4G air-to-ground system, which uses Chicago-based Gogo’s hardware and software technology, is available for installation at the Gulfstream service centers in Savannah and Brunswick, Georgia; Westfield, Massachusettes; St. Louis; Dallas; Long Beach, California; and Appleton, Wisconsin.
