Atlanta-area aviation services provider and Pilatus Aircraft dealer Epps Aviation has handed over the first Pilatus PC-24 for a customer in the Southeastern U.S. At a closing ceremony held this week at the airframerâs U.S. factory headquarters in Broomfield, Colorado, Cajun Industries of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, accepted the light jet.
âWith our growing and diverse travel requirements, we needed an airplane that could take us places quickly but be versatile enough to land in locations that might not be the best suited to a traditional jet,â explained Wayne Creel, president of company subsidiary Cajun Engineering Solutions. âThe PC-24 is the perfect jet for landing on short runways in remote areas where we have major construction projects in progress.â He added that the jet will complement the company flight department's previously existing PC-12 in meeting different needs and providing product familiarity.
Founded in 1965, Epps operates an FBO at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport and has been an authorized Pilatus sales and service center since 1996.
