MROinsider Surpasses First-year Goals
Launched last October, the maintenance-focused webportal now has nearly 300 registered corporate aircraft.

Maintenance quote request website MROinsider reports it has exceeded the initial goals set when it was launched last year at NBAA’s annual convention. With 280 corporate aircraft registered on its free portal, the company has surpassed its first-year predictions by 40 aircraft.

After registering, operators can select an aircraft and the work that is required, specify a time frame, and send equipment lists or photos. Member maintenance facilities are notified of a request for quote (RFQ), and can either request additional information from the operator or submit a quote. Each facility has a profile page with photos and reviews.

“We are happy to see owner/operators and maintenance professionals recognizing the value in our product,” said Andy Nixon, MROinsider's co-founder and v-p of sales. “Not only are we finding an increase in aircraft registrations, we have had 24 RFQ’s sent through the website in the last six months, many of which have been for ADS-B.”
