West Star Aviation Ramps Up Recruitment
West Star is hoping to fill more than 50 aircraft technician openings with skill levels from recent graduates to lead technicians.

West Star Aviation is increasing its hiring efforts by attending additional job fairs at colleges, as well as military recruiting events throughout the summer. The company has job openings for avionics installation and repair technicians. West Star is also looking to fill more than 50 aircraft technician openings with skill levels from recent graduates to lead technicians.


Representatives from West Star Aviation will attend the following events: the Atlanta Veterans Job Fair in Atlanta, Georgia,on June 21; the Aviation Institute of Maintenance, in Chesapeake, Virginia, on June 22; and St. Louis Veterans Job Fair in St. Louis, Missouri, on July 12.


“We are proud to continue investing in the future generation and our veterans by promoting careers in the aviation industry through increased college recruiting events and job fairs,” said Katie Johnson, v-p of human resources for West Star Aviation. “We have seen a continued pattern of growth at all of our state-of-the-art facilities with expansion efforts and have an immediate need for quality and innovative technicians.”
