Bethany, Oklahoma-based charter company Private Jets is expanding operations in San Antonio, Texas, and Naples, Florida. The operator is moving a Bombardier Learjet 31 and Beechjet 400A to its San Antonio base, bringing its total fleet there to five aircraft. Further, Private Jets revealed plans to hire up to 10 more pilots and support staff at San Antonio International Airport, where it has been doing business since 2002.
In Naples, Private Jet plans to add three more aircraft and hire five more pilots and support staff. The company is still determining which aircraft will be added to its base at Naples Municipal Airport. It currently operates a Cessna Citation II there. Private Jets has had a presence in Naples since 2000.
“We hope that the additional options for customers in those markets lead to future growth at those bases and throughout our company,” said Private Jets president Eric Wells. The expansion will help local customers avoid repositioning costs, he added.
In addition to its bases in Oklahoma City, San Antonio, and Naples, Private Jets provides services in St. Augustine, Florida, and Austin, and Sugar Land, Texas. The company operates a range of aircraft, from Cirrus SR22 pistons up to a super-midsize Bombardier Challenger 300.
