JSSI Launches New Services Portfolio
Appraisals, maintenance management offered.

Jet Support Services Inc. (JSSI, Booth C8934), the independent maintenance plan provider, is introducing a range of new services that includes asset inspection, aircraft appraisal, maintenance cost planning and maintenance event management. "JSSI manages and pays for close to 10,000 maintenance events each year," said CEO Neil Book. "As a result we have full visibility into actual costs associated with operating and maintaining aircraft. Our programs cover almost every make and model of business jet and turboprop. We are uniquely positioned to provide this cross-section of services to aircraft owners, operators and financiers seeking guidance."


JSSI has more than 70 technical advisors worldwide who are trained to perform asset inspections and prepare reports. Clients receive complimentary enrollment in JSSI's asset monitoring platform (AMP). The company's appraisers are accredited by the American Society of Appraisers, follow the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and have access to an automated valuation tool.


This week at NBAA 2017, JSSI released its AMP valuation tool, which provides the latest data on aircraft market values. The tool is available to customers of JSSI's AMP and available through the AMP portal. It not only allows users to monitor trends but also to input their own transaction values into the database. AMP provides real-time data on an aircraft, including historical utilization and past and future maintenance and financial obligations. It can be used to create customized alerts around an asset's flight, payment, and maintenance activities and can notify lenders in the potential profile change of an asset.


JSSI utilizes decades of in-house maintenance cost data to plan and budget for any maintenance operation and can assist operators analyze and forecast costs. The company's product specialists work with maintenance departments on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events to control costs and maintain schedules and quality standards.
