Ontic has received additional approvals from Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) for its Cheltenham, Ontario facility. The facility currently serves as a repair station and OEM for licensed and acquired products, including fuel measurement systems and emergency oxygen systems for a variety of platforms.
Ontic, a wholly owned subsidiary of BBA Aviation, boasts more than 40 years of aerospace product manufacturing and aftermarket support experience. The company also provides U.S. FAA, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, Thailand Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) and EASA Part 21 and 145 OEM support, including new and serviceable spares and repairs for more than 4,500 parts. It also plans to obtain approval from the Malaysian DCA.
The company's portfolio of products, licensed or acquired from major OEMs—such as Honeywell, UTC Aerospace, Safran, Thales and GE Aviation—spans major aircraft systems in both civil and military markets.
