Bombardier is celebrating its 40th year of operations at Tucson (Arizona) International Airport. Occupying almost one million square feet of total hangar space, Bombardier's Tucson maintenance facility is the largest of the company's nine factory-owned aircraft service centers. It employs more than 900 engineers, technicians and other staff and services both Bombardier commercial and business aircraft.
Bombardier Business Aircraft's service center network comprises seven wholly owned facilities, with two more slated to open within the next year, and 15 customer response team mobile units worldwide to support Learjets, Challengers and Globals. The network's 850 technicians have completed some 45,000 maintenance events to date. The network is connected to Bombardier Business Aircraft's 24/7 customer response center and customer support team. Bombardier also has nearly 50 authorized service facilities around the world.
