Two companies that provide maintenance, overhaul and repair services for Sikorsky Black Hawk helicopters are aligning under Twin Aviation, a supplier of aircraft spare parts and components. The new entity will be known as TAI‐Global Group.
“With an expected increase in the number of Black Hawks in the private and foreign government sectors, we are poised to provide the parts and services needed to maintain these fleets,” said Thomas Nokes, president and CEO of Twin Aviation. Nokes will serve as president and CEO of TAI‐Global Group.
Twin Aviation will be joined by Dangle Aviation of Tucson, an FAA-certified repair station specializing in the repair and overhaul of parts and components primarily of helicopters; and Bainbridge Aerospace, which specializes in overhaul and repair under U.S. Government Contracting regulations. The company also performs structural repairs for UH‐60 Black Hawks for foreign governments and the military.
