Heli-One’s Rzeszow, Poland facility received FAA repair station approval, allowing U.S.-based operators or those with U.S.-registered helicopters a new maintenance alternative at a facility with competitive turnaround times. The facility, which opened in 2014, provides base maintenance support for the Airbus Helicopters AS332, H225 and H135. It also offers component repairs such as the AW139 exhaust duct.
The Heli-One Poland facility already holds maintenance organization certificates from the EASA, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of the Cayman Islands, NATO Allied Quality Assurance Publications (AQAP) 2120, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) and the National Civil Aviation Institute of Angola.
The 65,000-sq-ft facility has a service hangar that can accommodate up to six large airframes, an avionics workshop, a structure shop with a specialized tail boom repair area and a dedicated paint bay.
