The Aircraft Electronics Association unveiled its new "responsive" website, meaning it offers an optimal viewing experience across a range of devices, from desktop computers to mobile devices.
"The mobile-friendly design provides the user with little need for resizing and panning," said Aaron Ward, AEA director of information services. "This clean-sheet redesign brings over all the valuable content of the previous website, but it also formats it for your preferred device to simplify navigation and make it easier on the eyes."
One new aspect to the website includes a quick glance of the AEA's most recent posts to Facebook and Twitter. Similar to its previous version, the newly designed website offers AEA member companies an exclusive members-only section that includes training and regulatory updates; STC database; certification documents library; repair station resources; shop rate and labor data; and NextGen technology resources, among others.
Visitors may easily search for any AEA member company through the "Find Member" option. The website also includes links to the AEA's publications, including Avionics News, AEA Wired and the Pilot's Guide to Avionics.
