ACJC Delivers Decked Out VIP ACJ319
Interior features five full-height private areas.

Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC) has completed and delivered an ACJ319 with a cabin that includes full-height private mini-suites to an undisclosed Asian customer. The cabin was designed by ACJC’s Creative Design Studio and is directly inspired by art deco interiors on luxury trains.

“Our customer required the most complex interior, in terms of ergonomics and kinematics, that we have ever designed. To welcome his guests in the way that he wanted, we created five full-height individual private areas, including a private office, with ingenious storage spaces and high-tech personal devices,” said Creative Design Studio head Sylvain Mariat. “As far as I know, this is the first Airbus corporate jet with full-height private mini-suites that required their own specific certification.”

To balance these individual areas, the ACJC Creative Design Studio designed a wide and light main lounge, with a parlor area for two passengers. “Our customer wanted a zone of intimacy in this vast entourage area, so we conceived a compartment based on mid-height partitions, with a sliding door. It gives the feeling of sitting in an historic train travelling toward Asia,” Mariat explained.

The cabin also features a crew-rest area, a cinema for two passengers and a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom that has a square shower and 15 full-flat seats, which are electrically actuated and can be controlled from a mobile device. The cabin's wireless system architecture drives the cabin management system and the in-flight entertainment system.
