Vendor Listings at Component Control’s StockMarket.Aero Support Certifications
In an effort to give more visibility to vendors, StockMarket.Aero tweaked its eMarketplace.

Component Control (Booth C8529), a logistics software provider for the aviation industry, announced that users of its StockMarket.Aero web marketplace can now see a sponsored seller’s current accreditations and certifications, including ASA-100, TAC 2000 and ISO 9001 designations.

“User feedback drove the development of these features,” said Steve Powell, manager of StockMarket.Aero. Members of the eMarketplace can send messages to subscribers, alerting them of parts wanted or for sale, and sellers can post photos, 8130 forms, serial numbers and other details that promote confidence among users.

“The marketplace offers real-time data that updates inventory and pricing automatically, and with our new certifications feature users have even more information at their fingertips,” said Powell.

Component Control also announced that its Quantum Control MRO and Logistics software was selected by CRS Jet Spares, a Florida-based global aftermarket spares provider, to manage its $60 million inventory and spares distribution operations across multiple facilities in Texas, Illinois, California, Singapore, UK and Brazil.

CRS’s subsidiary, Thrust-Tech Aviation, an FAA and EASA-certified repair station in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is also scheduled to use Quantum Control starting in April 2016. For efficiency, CRS Jet Spares is choosing to install Quantum in the cloud.

“Our management expects that Quantum will help keep our team on the same page with real-time information on parts entering the system, tracking our exchanges, repairs and new OEM distribution parts that have been on order for ‘just in time’ inventory,” said Armando Leighton, founder and CEO of CRS Jet Spares.
