Duncan Aviation has assembled a team of interior service specialists able to provide scheduled, unscheduled and road trip interior service to customers requiring aircraft interior work away from a major Duncan Aviation facility.
“Some customers need interior service that doesn’t disrupt their aircraft’s daily schedule,” said Nate Darlington, completions sales representative at Duncan Aviation’s Battle Creek, Mich. location. “To maximize their aircraft’s availability, we are able to perform various interior service work wherever they’re located.” Services include cleaning and removal of stains; interior removal and reinstallation; functional improvements such as latch adjustments and damage repairs; finish and seat touch-ups; carpet replacement; soft-good recovering for window lines, sidewalls, headliners and baggage; cabinet refurbishment; and seat re-upholstery or re-dye.
Darlington told AIN, “When we get a call we establish the customer’s expectations, including his budgetary preferences and desired outcome. Then we assemble the required equipment and materials from our inventory and dispatch a crew. Anything we can’t do on site we’ll take back to our facility, take care of the job then return and install it for the customer on location.”
Teams are currently based in Battle Creek; Lincoln, Neb.; and Provo, Utah.
