Private flight club Wheels Up is offering its members guaranteed access to midsize, super-midsize and large-cabin jets via a new alliance with Jet Aviation Flight Services. Through a new program announced today, its clients will be able to book aircraft with 24 hours’ notice and at fixed occupied hourly rates. Members will have the option of buying pre-paid blocks of flight hours, in which case they will have guaranteed access to aircraft with just 10 hours’ notice.

Aircraft available in the midsize category include the Cessna Citation Excel and Hawker 800XP, while the Citation X and Gulfstream G200 are among the super-midsize options and the Bombardier Challenger 605 and Gulfstream G450 in the large-cabin segment. The Jet Aviation aircraft will be based in the New York City area; Los Angeles; Chicago; Jacksonville, Fla.; and Dallas.

Wheels Up is not yet publicizing the flight hour rates for the Jet Aviation aircraft, but founder and CEO Kenny Dichter told AIN, “We can say that we will have competitive pricing in all categories, and especially in the large-cabin category, where we expect the pricing will be particularly sharp.”
