Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) has entered into a long-term fleet management program with Pratt & Whitney Canada in support of its P&WC-powered aircraft.
According to NAC chief commercial officer Jim Murphy, key benefits of the fleet management program include engine maintenance cost control, basic unscheduled engine repairs and relaxed engine redelivery conditions. “One important factor is that these additional services and benefits will be available to any Nordic Aviation Capital customer, including smaller operators who haven’t been able to take advantage of fleet management programs in the past,” Murphy said.
“We are delighted to expand our long established relationship with Nordic Aviation Capital. This new agreement allows NAC to offer its expanding customer base worldwide an engine maintenancecost plan that includes engine repair coverage, enabling smaller fleet operators to benefit from this important cost plan,” said Raffaele Virgili, Pratt & Whitney Canada vice president for customer service.
The PW100 series powers the ATR 42 and 72, while the PW150 line powers the Dash 8 Q400; both types are used by regional airlines and as corporate flight department shuttles.
