A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Aeross and CRS Jet Spares to provide support for the Brazilian business aviation community. Barueri, São Paulo, Brazil-based Aeross has a primary focus on repair and overhaul. According to Armando Leighton, Jr., CEO of CRS Jet Spares, it will initially reposition $1 million in inventory to Aeross. “We intend for Aeross to mirror overhaul and repair capabilities to match inventory placed in Brazil as well as Thrust Tech Aviation’s current repair capabilities including hydraulics, pneumatics, wheel and brake overhauls, landing gear, oxygen masks, generators and avionics,” Leighton told AIN. Leighton used CRS Jet Spares sister company Thrust Tech Aviation, a component overhaul and repair facility based in Fort Lauderdale, as a benchmark when he began looking for a partner in Brazil. “This partnership is exciting for CRS and allows us an opportunity to provide local support within Brazil which, with a fleet including fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, boasts one of the largest business aviation communities in the world.”
