Jet Aviation is offering an AOG hotline service for Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia to assist aircraft operators with emergency or AOG situations. Calls to the hotline number within Europe should be made to +800 5387 8277 and from outside Europe to +41 58 158 4848. The new hotline joins the existing U.S.-based AOG service located at facilities in St. Louis, Teterboro and Boston/Bedford airports.

According to Ben Games, AOG maintenance team manager, the EMEA/Asia team has a track record of resolving AOG or unscheduled maintenance requests within 48 hours. “They are equipped with visas for most of the EMEA and Asian countries and are always on standby. They can be mobile within two hours,” he told AIN. 

Games said the hotline is supported by 13 facilities, including Basel, Switzerland; Paris Le Bourget; London Biggin Hill; Zurich and Geneva, Switzerland; Dusseldorf and Hannover, Germany; Moscow Vnukovo; Dubai; Jeddah and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Singapore; and Hong Kong. Hotline personnel speak 11 languages, including English, Russian, Mandarin and Arabic.

“We have simplified the process for aircraft operators and set up a centralized AOG hotline,” rather than requiring customers to approach various Jet Aviation sites within the EMEA and Asia network when an AOG situation occurs or a part is needed urgently, said Christof Späth, senior vice president of MRO and FBO services for Jet Aviation EMEA and Asia. “After gathering all information relevant to the problem, we locate personnel and parts from the nearest available Jet Aviation maintenance facility or aircraft service center to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.”
