A new 43,000-sq-ft hangar has opened on Denton Airport in Texas. Jet Works Air Center’s newest facility is dedicated to maintenance, repair, inspections and avionics installations and will accommodate long-range business jets up to the size of the Boeing 757-200. The facility, which includes 3,000 sq ft of offices and back shop space, joins an existing 66,000-sq-ft facility.
Pat Murphy, v-p of sales and marketing, told AIN that despite the economy it seemed to be the right time for the company to expand the business. “We have continued to grow steadily since we moved from Fort Worth to Denton in 2005,” he said. “This is the logical next step to support that growth.”
Jet Works Air Center provides heavy airframe maintenance, inspections, complete avionics installation and warranty service, interior modifications, completions and paint for a wide range of turbine aircraft. It is the exclusive completions center for the Piaggio Avanti II in the U.S., provides avionics services and is an authorized dealer for Rockwell Collins, Honeywell-Bendix/King, Universal Avionics, Goodrich, Garmin,
