Jet Repair Anywhere (JRA), the Web-based global repair station portal and database, has announced a strategic alliance with charter broker Blue Star Jets (BSJ). JRA provides a searchable database of more than 6,000 maintenance and repair stations worldwide, created to help identify repair options in the event an aircraft develops a mechanical problem away from its home base.
Under the alliance, JRA’s and BSJ’s Web sites will be linked. Now JRA customers, in addition to finding repair help, will be able to instantly link to BSJ’s site to arrange for replacement aircraft if needed.
“When [customers] are using our Web site to find somebody to fix their airplane, if they want to start looking for supplemental lift, they can go right to Blue Star Jets [site] and get additional support,” said Cheryl Janke, CEO of Scottsdale, Ariz.-based JRA.
The agreement also gives BSJ clients access to JRA’s site. For example, crews of aircraft used by BSJ for charter flights will be able to search JRA’s database to find repair facilities worldwide if needed.
