Miniscule video borescope introduced
Everest VIT lays claim to developing the world’s smallest, fully articulated video borescope, the 3.9-mm diameter XL PRO.

Everest VIT lays claim to developing the world’s smallest, fully articulated video borescope, the 3.9-mm diameter XL PRO. The device, the latest in the Flanders, N.J. company’s line of remote visual inspection (RVI) systems, is being introduced to NBAA ’02 attendees at the Everest exhibit (Booth No. 4033). Company president Bruce Pellegrino stated, “This probe not only goes into spaces that are previously unexplored, but also provides measurements and fully articulated best quality views while there.”

The probe uses Everest VIT’s proprietary iView system for image manipulation, measurement, saving and annotation and the All-Way articulation and forward and side-view optical tips. The XL PRO is available as a complete system–camera, pendant with LCD monitor, iView and cord–or as an upgrade to an existing model.
