Universal Weather’s (Booth No. 337) UVTripPlanner has been selected to power the airport search engine for Avinode’s charter booking system. The UVTripPlanner is a pre-flight reference tool featuring worldwide airport data for more than 25,000 airports worldwide.

Avinode (Booth No. 723) operates an online marketplace for industry professionals to buy and sell air charter and logs more than 2,000 daily hits. The system currently lists 2,100 aircraft with information about online quoting, availability reports, empty-leg postings and aircraft photo galleries. At its EBACE exhibit, Avinode is hosting 12 members of its Avinode Network, representatives with varied fleet profiles from different geographical locations. Avinode currently has nearly 900 operator members worldwide, nearly 200 of them in the U.S., and according to a spokesman, is adding about 20 new members a month.
