<p>King Mswati III of the African country of Swaziland reportedly will proceed with buying a $45 million business jet despite objections by his own government, and a threat by the U.S. that he would not be able to land the aircraft on U.S. soil. The controversy stems from the king’s decision to buy a corporate jet (unidentified, although the cost points to an airplane in the Gulfstream V/Global Express class) while the poor in his country are starving. In addition to a custom interior, the new jet will be fitted with an anti-missile system, according to Reuters news service.</p>
