Gulfstream Aerospace acquired the maintenance operation of BBA Aviation’s facility at London Luton Airport, making the facility the first Gulfstream-owned service center outside the U.S. The facility will continue to provide maintenance for Citations, Falcons and Hawkers, as well as all Gulfstreams. The deal follows on the heels of Cambridge, England-based Marshall Aerospace discontinuing large-aircraft maintenance after 35 years as an authorized Gulfstream and Bombardier warranty center. Marshall has decided to focus its maintenance on Citations. Meanwhile, Metro Business Aviation at London Stansted Airport was recently named a Global Express service center.
