<p>The board of directors at Bombardier will give CEO Paul Tellier a bonus of as much as $8.5 million in 2006 if the company meets profit and sales targets. His annual salary of $1.4 million will remain unchanged until January 2006. Since taking over from Robert Brown in January last year, Tellier, 64, has sold several businesses, including the company’s recreational products unit, which made snowmobiles, Bombardier’s original product; instituted a recapitalization program; revised accounting methods; reduced the assets of Bombardier Capital; and cut thousands of jobs in the rail-car and corporate aircraft divisions.</p>
