A workshop to provide guidance on what to do in the event of a serious aircraft accident or incident is scheduled in Atlanta on April 20 and 21. The program will be presented by NBAA and The VanAllen Group, an Atlanta-based business aviation consulting firm. The topics to be covered include an “exploration of the timeline and issues resulting from an aircraft incident, with special emphasis on controlling the elements within a company’s influence, including how to take care of survivors and their families, as well as public and private information flows.” Other subjects are how to deal with the NTSB, FAA and media. Cost is $1,200 for NBAA members and $1,350 for nonmembers.
