In preparation for introducing its A700 very light twinjet late next year, Adam Aircraft has teamed up with Chicago-based JSSI to offer owners an hourly maintenance plan. Under the Adam Support Aircraft Program, A700 owners will pay $350 per hour for three years or 750 hours, whichever comes first, in exchange for all operating costs (sans fuel), including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and consumables such as brakes, tires and lightbulbs. Similar programs would be negotiated with A700 air-taxi customers, who will likely operate their aircraft more than 750 hours per year. FAA certification of the A700 is expected in the fourth quarter of next year, the company said.
