Still factory fresh from Cessna is the new Citation Sovereign being shown in the EBACE static aircraft park by UK business aircraft charter and management firm Bookajet (Booth No. 1054). The company has added the aircraft, which could be joined in the fleet later by a second example, to provide longer-range capacity.
Since its delivery last month, the Swedish-owned and -registered Sovereign already has been used to provide charter uplift from southwest France to the Gulf with a Toulouse-Doha (Qatar)-Toulouse round trip that would not have been possible with a Citation XL, for example.
Bookajet operates two Raytheon Beech Premier Is from Farnborough with its own crews, while the rest of the offered fleet–the Sovereign, a Citation VII, a Citation XLS and two XLs, and a pair of Gulfstream G550s–is managed on behalf of two Swedish owners. The Premiers offer capacity on routes such as London-Ibiza, while the G550s are reserved for much longer-haul service such as UK-U.S. West Coast.
