Jet Aviation and its newly acquired affiliate Midcoast Aviation completed the restructuring of the group’s MRO and FBO business in North America. Four of Jet Aviation’s MRO divisions in Bedford, Mass.; Chicago; Palm Beach, Fla.; and Teterboro, N.J.; have been merged into Midcoast Aviation, while Midcoast’s St. Louis Downtown Airport FBO is now operated by Jet Aviation. Meanwhile, Jet Aviation is selling its Dallas MRO business to East Alton, Ill.-based Premier Air Center/West Star Aviation effective November 1, but will continue to provide FBO services at Love Field. Palm Beach will retain its status as a Dassault Falcon Jet service center and will continue to provide completions, refurbishment and paint services along with light maintenance. No changes in the current range of maintenance services are planned at the new Midcoast MRO facilities in Bedford, Chicago and Teterboro. Jet Aviation completed its purchase of Midcoast Aviation from Sabreliner in March.
