On October 3, corporate aircraft sales and management company Axis Jet announced the opening of a new Part 135 air charter division based at Sacramento Executive Airport in California. Catering to business and leisure travelers, Axis Jet’s charter fleet consists of three King Airs–a 350, a 300 and C90B.

“This new charter division answers a need of some of our aircraft owners [for] more flexibility and control in preserving their assets,” said Axis Jet cofounder Dan Kimmel. “We’re also proud to offer an alternative to air travelers throughout northern California.”

Based at the Sacramento Jet Center at Sacramento Executive Airport, the company also manages a Gulfstream III at Scottsdale Airport in Scottsdale, Ariz. Axis Jet is a division of Axis Aviation Group, which was founded by Kimmel and Matt Bosco in July 2004.
