Dallas Airmotive also recently announced that it has opened a regional turbine center in Millville, N.J. The 8,000-sq-ft facility supports turbine aircraft operators in the Northeastern U.S. and is located at Millville Municipal Airport adjacent to the company’s maintenance hangar. Last year Dallas Airmotive closed Millville engine overhaul operations.

The facility will provide maintenance, repair and hot section inspection services on PT6A and JT15D engines. It will also support the company’s Millville hangar operations, which perform engine changes, flight line services, vibration surveys and AOG support for Rolls-Royce Spey, Tay and 250 models, the Honeywell TFE731 and 36-series APUs, as well as the PT6A and JT15D.

“We have put in place a state-of-the-art facility where King Air, Citation, Beechjet and other PT6A and JT15D operators can bring their engines for maintenance and inspection,” commented Mike Cumnock, Dallas Airmotive vice president of customer support and regional turbine centers. “Our adjacent hangar makes Millville a great fly-in facility for quick engine changes and line maintenance, not only for PT6A- and JT15D-powered aircraft, but also for the majority of turbine-powered business and general aviation aircraft.”
