Ameco Aviation College (AAC) has obtained a CCAR Part 147 certificate as a maintenance training organization issued by CAAC’s North-China Regional Administration Division. It is China’s first CCAR Part 147-certified training organization. Its certification includes basic theory and practical training for aircraft maintenance and aircraft type training.

According to an AAC representative, the school’s objective is to “standardize maintenance staff training to meet the increasing demand for qualified maintenance staff and technicians.”

Established in 1989, Ameco Beijing, located on Beijing Capital International Airport, is a 60/40 joint venture between, respectively, Air China and Lufthansa German Airlines. It provides MRO services for airframe, engines and components of commercial aircraft. It also offers services in training, engineering and logistics, as well as tooling calibration for China’s entire aviation industry.
