Dallas Airmotive is opening a new 22,600-sq-ft warehouse at its Forest Park turbine engine repair and overhaul facility in Dallas.

According to the company, the addition will increase production efficiency and improve service. “By having more than a million parts readily available within a few minutes of our mechanics at Forest Park, we will benefit from much greater efficiency, and we can deliver products to our customers in a more timely manner,” said Randy Appelhans, the company’s vice president of materials and purchasing.

The facility will also serve as a centralized shipping and receiving center handling more than 250 shipments of parts, engines and supplies daily. The company overhauls and repairs turbine engines at two facilities in Dallas, its Premier Turbines facility in Neosho, Mo., and its H+S Aviation affiliate in Portsmouth, England
