Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS) has received approval from the Federal Civil Aviation Authority of Russia (FCAAR) to perform line and base maintenance work on Russian-registered Bombardier aircraft.
A team of FCAAR experts led by Andrei Lyssykh, chief expert at the Russian Federal Flight Safety and Certificate Center, recently performed an extensive audit at LBAS’ facility in Berlin.
“Through our meetings with LBAS management and a thorough review of the facility’s aircraft maintenance procedures, we are confident that the highest standards for aircraft maintenance will be met,” said Lyssykh. “Our visit also gave us a first-hand opportunity to see work performed on Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global business jets.”
