DunnAir CompletionStart-up Gets FAA Approval
DunnAir Business Jet Completion Center has received its repair station certificate from the FAA.

DunnAir Business Jet Completion Center has received its repair station certificate from the FAA. The Tucson, Ariz.-based company at Tucson International Airport already has 44 employees and expects to have 150 on the payroll by this time next year. The facility is located in a 235,000-sq-ft hangar capable of simultaneously holding as many as four Boeing 747s, making it the largest completion and refurbishment center in the U.S. In fact, the exterior paint bay alone could–“in a squeeze”–accommodate a 747, according to founder, president and CEO Dale Dunn. “We could easily fit in a 767.” The company, said Dunn, got its permit to do exterior paint on July 29, “the same day we got the repair station certificate."
