Cessna 208 Caravan, Yucaipa, Calif., March 29, 2006–Cessna Aircraft Western and Canada regional sales manager Steve O’Neill and Rick Voorhis, president of Pacific Aircraft Sales, were en route to Ontario, Calif., in the Caravan when it crashed in a mountainous area about 25 miles west of Palm Springs. Both men were killed. Witnesses said the low-flying airplane appeared to be having engine trouble. The Caravan was owned by Cessna and was used to market the model.
