Dallas Airmotive adds Rolls-Royce TAY 611-8C capability
Gulfstream G350 and G450 operators now have another option for repair of their Rolls-Royce Tay 611-8Cs.

Gulfstream G350 and G450 operators now have another option for repair of their Rolls-Royce Tay 611-8Cs. Dallas Airmotive has expanded its repair and overhaul capability to include the engine, an enhancement to the earlier model 611-8 used on the Gulfstream IV and IV-SP. New features include fadec, fewer mechanical parts and technical benefits learned from the Rolls-Royce Trent and Tay 650 airliner engine programs.

Dallas Airmotive has been supporting the Tay series with OEM-authorized repair and overhaul services since the engine’s introduction into service in 1986 and has serviced more than 700 Tay engines to date.

Due to significant build differences from earlier Tay models, Dallas Airmotive established a special support team at its Forest Park overhaul facility in Dallas
to oversee maintenance modification of these engines.
