Bell Sells Two 505 Jet Ranger X Copters to Vietnam
Purchase by Vietnam Helicopter Corporation and subsidiary mark the manufacturer's first commercial sale in the nation.

Bell Helicopter (Stand Q01) announced here at the Singapore Airshow 2018 it has signed a purchase agreement with Vietnam Helicopter Corporation and its subsidiary Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company (VNH North) for two Bell 505 Jet Ranger X helicopters, representing Bell’s first commercial sale within Vietnam. The clean sheet Bell 505 model, which entered service last year, “incorporates the latest advancements in safety and aviation technology while providing best-in-class value,” said Sameer Rehman, managing director of Bell Helicopter Asia Pacific. “We look forward to working closely and supporting both Vietnam Helicopter Corporation and VNH North as they expand their business to new territories and customers.”


State-owned rotorcraft operator Vietnam Helicopter and its subsidiaries provide utility and transport services for the oil-and-gas, tourism, air ambulance, search-and-rescue and VIP transportation sectors, in addition to pilot training and repair and overhaul services.
