Rockwell Collins vice president and general manager for air transport systems Jeff Standerski and BOC Aviation CEO Robert Martin signed a contract here yesterday that will bring a suite of communications, navigation and surveillance avionics to 47 Airbus A320s due for delivery starting late this year. BOC Aviation is an aircraft leasing firm owned by the Bank of China. Under terms of the deal, Rockwell Collins will supply the A320’s baseline avionics, including WXR-2100 weather radar, VHF data radios, HF radios, VOR receivers, DME, ADF, TCAS, transponders and GPS receivers.
