Elliott Aviation is working on a Universal Avionics 890R EFIS installation for the Falcon 10/100. STCs for the EFIS and additional avionics are expected by the end of September, after which Elliott will apply for EASA certification. Installations can be performed at any of Elliott’s facilities, but if paint or interior work is needed, installations will have to be done at the company’s Moline, Ill. shop. Since the middle of last year, Universal Avionics of Tucson, Ariz., has been strengthening its foothold in the cockpit retrofit market, branching out with a variety of available upgrades based on the company’s flat-panel display technology.
