U.S.: New Rules Delayed

As a result of orders from the U.S. president, the effective date has been delayed until at least March 20 for two more new FAA rules, a continuation of the administration’s regulatory freeze “for the purpose of reviewing any questions of fact, law, and policy that the rules may raise.” The latest FAA rules to have their effective dates postponed at least 60 days are: Aircraft Registration and Recordation Procedural Updates and Drug and Alcohol Testing of Certificated Repair Station Employees Located Outside of the United States.
