Transport Canada has published&nbsp;a notice&nbsp;to consult the aviation industry on proposed amendments to&nbsp;standards related to&nbsp;personnel&nbsp;licensing and&nbsp;training. The key objective of this proposal is to enhance the standards by addressing issues&nbsp;identified through ongoing internal assessments and reviews, industry feedback, and specific engagement with external stakeholders and subject matter experts. This involves addressing outstanding and emerging issues by revising ambiguous or outdated standards, clarifying confusing terminology and requirements, improving consistency, and codifying certain long-standing&nbsp;exemptions.&nbsp;Comments are due by Nov. 21, 2024.
